Registered Nurse - MedSurg
Location: Lawton, OK

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating schedule that includes 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Day, rotating)
Hours per Week: 60
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer and accurately record prescribed medications for assigned patients
- Start IVs and insert catheters safely and according to policy
- Change dressings and provide comprehensive wound care
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, document findings clearly
- Adjust and interpret specialized medical equipment and recordings
- Report adverse reactions and changes in condition promptly to the care team
- Provide compassionate patient monitoring and advocacy throughout the shift
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a 1:5 patient ratio and deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Experience or demonstrated skills in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Hands-on ability with IV starts, medication administration, catheter insertion and wound care
- Comfort working 12-hour day shifts and participating in a rotating weekend schedule
- Strong documentation and patient monitoring capabilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Medical-Surgical nursing best practices
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- IV therapy and catheter insertion techniques
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Use and adjustment of specialized medical equipment
- Patient assessment, reporting and clinical communication
- Ability to manage a 1:5 patient ratio effectively
