Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, safe patient care in the ICU using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate
• Monitor and respond to patients' hemodynamic status and notify physicians of changes
• Perform critical patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct bedside care for critically ill adults, including telemetry monitoring and advanced interventions
• Lead and coordinate patient/family teaching to support recovery and self-care
• Supervise and mentor other nursing staff while maintaining ICU standards of care
• Complete required documentation accurately and communicate clinical changes during shift handoffs
• Participate in unit competency testing and maintain required certifications

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications listed as required in the order
• Nursys registration for license verification
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting, preferably critical care
• CCRN certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred per facility policy
• Ability to float between ICU and telemetry units

• Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams and physicians
