Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer allergy and immunotherapy injections safely and with confidence
• Perform thorough patient assessments, documenting history, allergies, and vital signs
• Chart all patient care and encounters accurately in EPIC
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, injection care, and follow-up
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Maintain clinic safety, infection control, and medication handling standards
• Support clinic flow and patient experience by triaging needs and prioritizing care

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (pending state licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Experience with allergy/immunology injections preferred but not required
• BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable charting in EPIC and following outpatient clinic workflows
• Willingness to commit to a 26-week assignment (signing requirement)
• Able to interview via Microsoft Teams as part of the hiring process

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with EPIC charting and documentation
• Skilled in patient assessments and taking thorough histories
• Knowledge of immunotherapy and allergy injection techniques (preferred)
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and patient education
• Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
