Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Day (typical one to two weekend days per month in acute care; weekend coverage is negotiable)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatient therapy patients across ortho, geriatrics, neuro, and vestibular caseloads
• Deliver 45-minute individualized evals and treatments for approximately 10 patients per shift
• Use therapy equipment such as Precor, NuStep, treadmill and offloader to implement effective treatment plans
• Document care accurately and timely in the Redoc EMR system
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and recovery expectations
• Maintain a positive, professional bedside manner and contribute to a welcoming clinic environment

Qualifications

• Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license — required
• Experience treating outpatient ortho, geriatrics, neuro and vestibular patients preferred
• Comfortable using Precor, NuStep, treadmill/offloader equipment and documenting in Redoc EMR
• Positive attitude and strong patient-centered communication skills
• Willingness to cover occasional weekend or acute care float when negotiated

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in outpatient evaluation and treatment planning
• Familiarity with vestibular assessment and rehabilitation (preferred)
• Experience with exercise equipment: Precor, NuStep, treadmill/offloader
• Comfortable using Redoc EMR for documentation
• Ability to manage a 1:1 patient ratio and maintain efficient caseload flow
