Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and identify meaningful goals
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Deliver hands-on therapy and adaptive technique training to maximize independence
Document patient progress clearly and communicate outcomes with the care team
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and families to coordinate holistic care
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety strategies
Contribute to a positive clinic culture and help improve patient experience

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist in California or eligible to obtain CA licensure
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT, OTD, or equivalent)
Clinical experience in pediatric/acute/rehab settings preferred (but we welcome new grads!)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proven knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions
Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical record systems
Skilled at developing practical home programs and adaptive strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize caseload and manage time efficiently during short shifts
