Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with focus and precision to help clinicians diagnose and treat patients
• Operate and perform quality control on nuclear imaging equipment to ensure high-quality, reliable studies
• Prepare and handle radiopharmaceuticals safely, following radiation safety and regulatory guidelines
• Position and care for patients compassionately, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in the patient chart and imaging systems
• Participate in on-call rotation for weekend coverage and respond promptly to urgent imaging needs
• Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and maintain required competencies to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• Valid state license/certification for Nuclear Medicine Technologist (license verification required)
• Ability to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings and immunizations (Color vision check, 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Fit Test, COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination, physical/health statement, 10-panel drug screen)
• Comfort with rotating on-call weekend coverage
• Previous experience in a nuclear medicine setting preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent (preferred)
• Certification/registry as required by state or employer

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols and patient preparation
• Radiation safety principles and regulatory compliance
• Experience operating gamma cameras/SPECT systems and performing QC checks
• Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with competency-based testing processes (Trinity checklists)
• Ability to work independently during on-call periods and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
