Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and daily support to patients
Administer medications and monitor patient responses carefully
Perform routine assessments and report changes to the care team
Document patient information accurately and timely in the medical record
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions
Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Support infection control and patient safety initiatives on the unit
Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up needs

Qualifications

Current LPN licensure (must be active and in good standing)
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts as needed
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable, compassionate, and able to prioritize patient safety

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Wound care fundamentals and infection control practices
Accurate clinical documentation and charting
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
