Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process and evidence-based practices
Collaborate as a member of the nursing team under RN supervision to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
Assume charge nurse duties in the Skilled Nursing Facility as needed, coordinating care and staff
Use clinical judgment to prioritize tasks, plan resident care, and respond to changing conditions
Document resident care accurately and use facility computer systems proficiently

Qualifications

Current California LVN license required
Graduate of an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent
Current CPR certification
At least 1 year of LVN experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritize and plan effectively
Comfortable with basic computer documentation and electronic charting

Education

Associate degree from an approved LVN program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) clinical experience
Proficient in nursing process and clinical judgment
Patient care and bedside skills for long-term and post-acute residents
Charge nurse capabilities and staff coordination
CPR competency and emergency response readiness
Computer proficiency for charting and documentation

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $5,000
Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
