Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to patient safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring images meet departmental protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to deliver timely diagnostic images
• Accurately document procedures, patient history, and imaging findings in the electronic record
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and best practices at all times
• Participate in competency checks such as the Trinity Skills Checklist and unit-specific training

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• CPACS competency required
• EPIC experience preferred but not mandatory
• Completion of required Trinity Skills Checklist and license/certificate verification
• Ability to pass required health screenings and immunizations (fit test, TB screening, drug screen, vaccines as listed)
• Comfort working independently on night shifts and strong communication skills

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT(CT) certification required; additional state licensure as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and contrast administration basics
• Familiarity with PACS/CPACS workflow and electronic health record documentation
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control
• Excellent patient care skills, especially for night shift patients with diverse needs
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced imaging environment
