Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Accurately document care and vital signs in patient records
• Support safe patient transfers and fall prevention measures
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient hygiene and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and universal precautions
• Reliable charting and attention to detail
• Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize during busy shifts
