Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing and feeding as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and family members to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen as required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and proper infection control practices
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Safe transfer and lifting techniques
• Patient hygiene and grooming assistance
• Accurate charting and attention to detail
• Professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
