Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support their daily needs
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
• Support safe transfers and prevent falls through attentive assistance
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in California (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Reliable work history and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or assisted living is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Able to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Comfortable with basic charting and documentation
• Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills
