Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and triage, ensuring a welcoming and efficient start to each visit
• Obtain and record vital signs accurately and consistently
• Assist providers during exams and procedures to support quality patient care
• Prepare and administer medications or injections per protocol
• Collect specimens and perform basic point-of-care testing as required
• Document patient encounters thoroughly in the electronic health record
• Provide clear patient education on treatments, medications and follow-up
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain clinic flow and a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and rotating day/evening shifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and supporting a team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Previous experience as a medical assistant is preferred

Education

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills such as taking vitals, basic injections and specimen collection
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
• Excellent patient communication and customer service
• Strong time management and ability to multitask
• Teamwork and adaptability in a rotating-shift environment
