Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Cath Lab rooms and equipment (Philips c-arms, Merge Vericis hemo systems) to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Assist physicians during EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular and Cardiac procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining sterile technique
• Perform patient assessment and monitoring before, during and after procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and documentation in Epic
• Set up and operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, ensuring high-quality images and accurate data capture
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate changes, and support positive patient outcomes
• Respond to on-call emergencies professionally and calmly, supporting emergent cases when called in
• Participate in department orientation and adhere to unit policies to maintain consistent quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• RN License OR RCIS/ARRT (techs must hold credentials)
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum ~2 years of relevant Cath Lab or cardiovascular/IR experience (experience: 2)
• Experience across at least 3 service lines (EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac) required; experience in 4 areas preferred
• Comfortable with Philips c-arm systems, Merge Vericis hemo system and Epic EMR
• Flexible, self-starter attitude with ability to take direction and fit into team-based care

Education

• RN license (ADN/BSN) OR RCIS/ARRT credential for Cath Lab techs
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and sterile technique
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, vascular access and peri-procedural patient care
• Proficient with imaging equipment (Philips c-arm) and hemodynamic systems (Merge Vericis)
• Experienced with Epic for charting and procedural documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork and situational awareness in high-acuity procedural settings
• Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support emergent workflow
