Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity cardiovascular ICU nursing care for pre/post CABG and complex cardiac patients
• Manage mechanical ventilation and ventilator-dependent patients with vigilance and skill
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz and interpretation of invasive pressures
• Manage invasive lines and devices: arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and Impella support
• Operate and monitor CRRT and advanced bedside equipment as indicated
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in Meditech EMR
• Respond swiftly and effectively to clinical emergencies and changes in patient status
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) — required
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU/CVICU/Neuro ICU or any critical care specialty) — must have
• Hands-on ventilator experience and comfort with advanced ventilator management
• Proven skills in arterial line, central line, and chest tube management
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and Swan-Ganz catheter care
• Familiarity with CRRT and Impella is a strong plus
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN are preferred but not required

Education

• RN (required)
• BSN preferred

• Accurate clinical documentation in Meditech
