Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations using independent judgment and technical expertise
• Set up and organize imaging rooms and equipment for efficient patient flow
• Select appropriate technical factors and evaluate images for proper exposure and positioning
• Provide clear patient instructions and preparations to ensure safe, accurate studies
• Schedule exams and coordinate with clinical teams to support diagnostic needs
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate respectfully with patients and families
• Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues, and escalate when necessary
• Assist with safe patient lifting and transfers and demonstrate proper body mechanics

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry in Radiography and CT certification or equivalent required
• Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure for Colorado
• Proven experience performing CT and X-ray procedures with sound image evaluation skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Manual dexterity and the physical ability to lift and move patients and equipment (≥20 lbs)
• Commitment to patient safety, radiation safety, and confidentiality

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT Registry (Radiologic Technologist) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) imaging techniques and protocols
• X-Ray/Radiography positioning and exposure evaluation
• Patient positioning, preparation, and instruction skills
• Ionizing radiation safety principles and best practices
• Ability to schedule exams and manage imaging workflow
• Problem solving, attention to detail, and effective communication
• Comfort working independently and making clinical decisions
