Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status clearly and promptly
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to prevent falls and injuries
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate effectively with the nursing team to ensure coordinated care
• Respect patient dignity and privacy while fostering a comforting atmosphere

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current basic health screenings and immunizations as required by facility
• Willingness to complete background check and any facility onboarding
• Comfort with overnight/night shift work and a patient-centered attitude
• Previous hands-on patient care experience is preferred but new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in basic patient care: ADLs, bathing, feeding, toileting, and ambulation
• Ability to accurately take and record vital signs and observe changes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff
• Familiarity with basic documentation and charting practices
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
