Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment services, including individual, group, and family psychotherapy to assigned consumers
- Deliver emergency and crisis interventions when required, using sound clinical judgment to stabilize and refer clients
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress to ensure high-quality continuity of care
- Offer information, referral, community education, and consultation services to clients, families, and partner agencies
- Support consumer-focused services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Perform duties with minimal administrative burden while maintaining professional supervision relationships with clinical leadership
Qualifications
- Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP
- Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- At least 2 years' experience in the treatment of consumers within the assigned program area
- Ability to perform required responsibilities with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
- Qualification under WAC 246-341-0515 for any additional specialties (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, or emergency services) when applicable
Education
- Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field (accredited college or university)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in mental health therapeutic techniques and evidence-based clinical interventions
- Skilled in individual, group, and family psychotherapy
- Experience with emergency/crisis services and community mental health issues
- Ability to provide consumer support services, community education, and consultation
- Experience working with special populations (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired)
- Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
