Shift Type: Days to be confirmed with facility; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility and safe transfers while encouraging resident independence when possible
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with feeding and nutrition, including meal setup and documenting intake
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Follow infection control procedures and facility policies to keep residents safe
- Build meaningful connections with residents and families to support emotional well-being
Qualifications
- Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility-required health screenings
- Background check and drug screen clearance as required by the facility
- Comfortable working in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting; experience preferred but new grads with certification are welcome
Education
- GNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable and confident assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Basic clinical observation skills and ability to recognize changes in condition
- Good communication and teamwork skills when collaborating with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach to care
