Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention measures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and assist with bedside charting
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
- Help create a comforting environment for residents and families during their stay
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Current state authorization or ability to obtain Pennsylvania CNA certification
- Comfortable working the evening shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Ability to pass standard background checks and health screenings
- Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who are certified are welcome to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support
- Knowledge of basic vital sign collection and reporting
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control practices
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help across shifts
- Time management and organization in a fast-paced care setting
