Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention measures
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and assist with bedside charting
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Help create a comforting environment for residents and families during their stay

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Current state authorization or ability to obtain Pennsylvania CNA certification
• Comfortable working the evening shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Ability to pass standard background checks and health screenings
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who are certified are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support
• Knowledge of basic vital sign collection and reporting
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control practices
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help across shifts
• Time management and organization in a fast-paced care setting
