Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Evening (Shift 2), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; days vary per facility schedule (evening/PM shift, non-overnight)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Document care accurately and timely in resident charts or electronic records
- Assist with meal service and feeding, ensuring dignity and proper nutrition
- Participate in infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania CNA preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfort working evenings and collaborating with a team in long-term care
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
- Good documentation skills and comfort with electronic charting or paper charts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
