Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care for residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and other activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition — your observations make a real difference
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lift techniques
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident record to support continuity of care
• Support nursing team with vitals, feeding assistance, and basic treatments as delegated
• Create a warm, respectful environment by engaging residents with dignity, patience and a friendly attitude

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Active or eligible to obtain Pennsylvania CNA listing
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
• Background check and drug screening clearance (per facility policy)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset — reliable and compassionate

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic documentation and charting skills; comfortable following care plans
• Teamwork and clear communication with nurses, therapists and family members
• Calm under pressure and able to prioritize resident safety

This is a travel/contract role — explore Norristown and the surrounding Montgomery County between shifts.
