Shift Type: Full-time, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (PM/evening shift); every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care and timely medication administration following the 5 Rights
- Complete resident assessments and maintain accurate, thorough documentation/charting
- Perform wound care and reassess wounds as needed to support healing
- Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and leadership
- Act as the floor leader when needed—assess situations, direct staff, and escalate appropriately
- Assist and support CNAs with resident care and respond to call lights promptly
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and intervene or report per facility policy
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license required — you must be authorized to practice in WI
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- 1+ years of related nursing experience preferred, long-term care experience a plus
- Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
- Ability to lead on the floor, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and mentor CNAs
- Knowledge of resident assessments, medication administration, wound care, and documentation standards
- Willingness to follow reporting procedures for abuse/neglect and maintain resident safety
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and bedside nursing
- Medication administration with attention to the 5 Rights
- Wound care and documentation of wound assessments
- Resident assessments and monitoring for changes in condition
- Accurate charting and electronic documentation
- Clear, timely communication with families, physicians, and the care team
- Leadership on the floor and ability to direct and support CNAs
- Recognition and reporting of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation
