Shift Type: Days: Schedule TBD, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift, day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to nursing staff promptly
- Provide nourishing meal assistance and help with feeding when required
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, person-centered environment that promotes independence
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtain upon hire
- Valid photo ID, clear background check, and required immunizations
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Comfortable with physical aspects of the role including lifting and long periods of standing
- Previous long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong bedside manner
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic vital signs monitoring and observation skills
- Accurate documentation and time management
- Infection control practices and safe hygiene techniques
- Teamwork, clear communication, and a calm approach in busy situations
