Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to adult ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and neurologic data, acting quickly on changes
• Manage ventilators, advanced cardiac life support interventions, and infusion therapy as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families with clarity and compassion during stressful times
• Participate in mandatory competency testing and complete required checklists and verifications

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing
• ICU / Critical Care nursing experience (per posting core skills)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications as listed in the posting
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (per posting)
• Successful license and certificate verification and required health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and clinical judgment
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive infusions
• Familiarity with specialty competency testing and skills validation processes
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records and follow hospital policies
