Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, variable schedule (commonly Monday-Friday with scheduled weekends as needed), typical start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Common shift patterns include 8-hour days (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) or 10-hour days (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) on a 4x10 variable schedule; includes weekend, on-call and holiday coverage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general radiography exams that clinicians rely on for diagnosis
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively for outpatient and inpatient procedures
• Provide perioperative imaging support in the OR using C-arm and O-arm systems
• Perform portable x-rays throughout the medical center, including CCU and ER
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper PACS/RIS documentation (Cerner, GE Centricity, Philips Intellispace)
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control practices for patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
• Participate in department rotations and cover multiple areas as scheduled, including outpatient clinics and ortho

Qualifications

• Washington state license required at time of submittal
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiography experience (travelers expected to cover all areas)
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience with proven ability to operate C-arm and O-arm
• Comfortable performing portable radiography and working in high-volume settings
• ER experience preferred
• Available for rotating schedules, weekends, call and holiday coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Cerner PowerChart, RIS, GE Centricity and Philips Intellispace PACS
• Hands-on experience with DR and CR digital imaging systems
• Skilled in portable radiography and positioning for diverse patient populations
• Experience operating Ziehm, GE/OEC C-arms and Siemens O-arm
• Strong patient communication and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulatory compliance
• Accurate documentation and charting in EMR/PACS systems
