Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor respiratory status and deliver high-quality respiratory care
• Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory support devices safely and effectively
• Perform and interpret respiratory treatments and diagnostic tests as appropriate
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to create patient-centered plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, patient responses, and competencies
• Participate in required Trinity skills and specialty competency testing to ensure top-notch care
• Adhere to infection control practices, fit testing requirements, and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current respiratory therapy certification/licensure with verification prior to start
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as part of onboarding
• Compliance with required health screenings and immunizations (PPD/IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza)
• Successful completion of fit testing and a Trinity 10-panel drug screen
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills for team-based care

Knowledge & Skills

• Core respiratory therapy skills including airway management and ventilator care
• Ability to perform patient assessment and document findings clearly
• Familiarity with infection control practices and fit testing procedures
• Comfort with competency testing processes and checklist-driven credentialing
• Team collaboration and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic EHR navigation and accurate clinical documentation
