Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OB/GYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain equipment and ensure excellent image quality for every patient
Provide a welcoming, reassuring experience for patients during every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OB/GYN) required
RVT certification preferred
BLS certification required
Strong experience in General, OB/GYN, and Vascular ultrasound
Comfortable performing procedures and working in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

RDMS, RVT, and BLS certifications
Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment
Experience with Fuji and EPIC systems
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
