Shift Type: Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight into Sunday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to prevent injury
Support infection control and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
Collaborate with the care team to deliver timely, patient-centered care
Respect patient dignity and communicate clearly with patients and families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
Reliable nighttime availability and professional communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and hygiene assistance skills
Ability to observe and accurately document patient status
Comfortable with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff
Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
