Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, following established protocols and best practices
• Perform focused assessments and monitor patient status closely, documenting changes and interventions
• Carry out stroke assessments using NIHSS when indicated and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following ACLS and BLS guidelines as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute patient-centered care plans
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing to demonstrate clinical readiness
• Maintain accurate records, participate in handoffs, and ensure continuity of care at every transition

Qualifications

• Active RN license (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS competency required
• Successful completion of Trinity-specific onboarding checks (skills checklist, specialty competency testing)
• Up-to-date immunizations and required health screenings (2-step PPD or IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza)
• Successful Trinity 10-panel drug screen, fit test, and color vision testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
• Proficiency with emergency and acute care protocols (BLS/ACLS/TNCC)
• Ability to perform NIH Stroke Scale evaluations accurately
• Familiarity with Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and checklists
• Comfort with required occupational health screenings and immunization tracking
• Clear documentation and communication skills for handoffs and interdisciplinary collaboration
