Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered telemetry and critical care nursing during night shifts
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes or alarms
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and document care accurately in the EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
• Perform focused assessments, escalate clinical concerns, and support smooth handoffs at shift change
• Educate patients and families about treatments, safety and discharge goals
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols and hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; DCI/BVP required
• Current compliance with facility health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, TB test, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B as listed)
• Completion of required pre-employment checks: Fit Test, drug screening (minimum 10-panel), Prime exams and skills checklist
• Experience working in telemetry and critical care settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Critical care assessment and rapid response skills
• IV medication preparation and administration
• Electronic health record documentation and handoff communication
• Infection control practices and patient safety
• Prioritization, situational awareness and teamwork during high-acuity situations
