Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric ICU patients
Monitor and assess critically ill children, promptly recognizing changes in condition
Administer medications and therapies accurately and document care thoroughly
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of practice
Communicate clearly and empathetically with families, keeping them informed and supported

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (required)
Experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or similar pediatric critical care setting (preferred)
Willingness to complete orientation as provided by the facility
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced ICU environment

Education

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric critical care knowledge and patient assessment skills
Familiarity with monitoring equipment and interpreting vital signs in critically ill children
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate with families
