Location: Omaha, NE

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1900 and 1830-0700, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU environment
Manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes patients with continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate intravenous drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support facility operations

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
Willingness to work every other weekend and every third holiday

Knowledge & Skills

Experience in PCU or step-down unit preferred
Proficiency in titrating drips and monitoring telemetry
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong teamwork and adaptability
