Location: Silverdale, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday per year as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Draw ABGs and perform arterial blood gas analysis with precision
Set up and manage bipap and ventilator support for patients in need
Deliver neb treatments and assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Assist with intubations under the guidance of lead therapists
Provide compassionate care to adult patients and occasional pediatric cases in the ED
Collaborate with a team of skilled RTs to ensure optimal respiratory outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential required
Must have experience with Level 2 nursery and NICU, including bubble CPAP for 32-week and up neonates
Proficient in ventilator skills and airway management
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a 4+ RT night shift team

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Bubble CPAP and high-flow therapy
ABG drawing and analysis
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Assisting intubations
Nebulizer treatments and bipap setup
