Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends; shift times vary including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population in PCU, oncology, and med-surg units
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med-surg and PCU units as required
Serve as charge nurse with at least 1 year of experience

Qualifications

At least 1 year of PCU and oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome
ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification required
EPIC experience preferred
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in chemotherapy administration and monitoring
Proficient in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Skilled in using Alaris IV pumps
Strong teamwork and communication skills
