Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy to a diverse inpatient population, including med/surg, tele, ICU, and oncology units
Manage orthopedic and total joint replacement patients with evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
Deliver therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Cover a wide range of diagnoses, from cardiac surgeries to general acute care needs
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation, bringing immediate value to the team

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as a Physical Therapist
Experience with orthopedic, ICU, and ventilator patients
Proficiency in Cerner EMR for accurate documentation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation
Strong background in orthopedic and cardiac rehabilitation
Ability to manage a variety of patient populations, including med/surg and oncology
Skilled in ventilator management and ICU-level care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
