Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, days and nights, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to oncology and trauma PCU patients.
Administer chemotherapy and manage titratable drips such as heparin and cardizem.
Monitor hemodynamic status using CVP, Aline, Swan, or EV-1000.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians.
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, maintaining same level of care.
Ensure hourly rounding and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required.
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience.
First-time travelers welcome.
Must pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC EMR
Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Chemotherapy administration and handling
Alaris IV pump operation
Strong teamwork and communication skills
