Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and encephalopathy
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, titrate drips such as Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and maintain sterile field during procedures
• Collaborate with charge nurse, nursing aides, and interdisciplinary team for seamless patient care
• Conduct bedside report and ensure accurate documentation in Cerner
• Respond to emergencies and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with drip titration (Amio, Cardizem, Insulin)
• Neuro experience highly preferred
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Competent in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with sterile field
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean shaven for fit test

• Trauma nursing and critical care skills

• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
