Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including cardiac, vascular, stroke, and renal cases
Titrate critical drips like Heparin, Nitro, and Amiodarone to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes with confidence
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced 40-bed PCU unit
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed, expanding your skills across specialties

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with arterial line management and high-flow oxygen therapy
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation (90% required)
Flexible team player ready to embrace a supportive, learning environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating drips and telemetry interpretation
Competent in handling high-flow oxygen equipment
Strong communication skills to engage with a multicultural patient population
Adaptability to float between units and take patient assignment feedback positively
