Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend; floating between units and campuses

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to telemetry and med-surg patients across multiple units
Titrate cardiac drips and monitor EKG rhythms with precision
Float between ICU, Cardiac Tele, Med-Surg, and holding areas as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Pass the dysrhythmia exam and simulation lab to demonstrate competency
Care for patients with cardiac, neurological, and surgical conditions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1-2 years of telemetry experience
Ability to titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs
Successful completion of dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced cardiac life support and EKG interpretation
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Adaptability in floating between units and campuses
Strong patient assessment and IV therapy skills
Effective communication and teamwork
