Location: Bismarck, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips to detect changes in patient status
Titrate intravenous drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro as ordered
Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage PCU-level overflow patients
Assist with procedures like cardiac catheterizations and EP studies
Float to assist in PCU and medical-surgical units as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently
Epic experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
Proficiency in managing patients on BiPAP and high-flow oxygen
Experience with common titratable drips
Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
Team player with a flexible attitude
