Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients during 12-hour night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and implement ACLS/BLS protocols when clinically indicated
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists and support staff to coordinate care
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record and complete required checklists
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and maintain skills competency
• Support infection prevention and workplace safety through required testing and vaccinations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — license/certificate verification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Comfortable and experienced working 12-hour night shifts
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist (or willingness to complete)
• Ability to pass required health screenings: fit test, drug screen, immunizations, PPD/IGRA

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in ACLS and BLS clinical protocols
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with 12-hour night shift workflow and patient prioritization
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and electronic medical records
• Comfort following facility-specific policies and specialty competency standards
