Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patients’ abilities with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Complete thorough evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate effective, patient-centered care
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and safety to support long-term outcomes

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Skilled Nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning expertise
ADL retraining and adaptive techniques
Clinical documentation and regulatory compliance knowledge
Effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Patient and family education skills
Time management and independent clinical decision-making
