Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams using Siemens MRI systems while following established imaging protocols
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort through excellent communication and compassionate care
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring images meet diagnostic standards
• Accurately document procedures and update patient records in Epic and PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to optimize imaging results and patient flow
• Complete required competency testing and maintain certifications and licensure
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and radiation protection standards at all times

Qualifications

• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Proven experience on Siemens MRI scanners (Siemens experience REQUIRED)
• Familiarity with Epic, PACS, and Powerscribe preferred
• Active state license or eligibility for license verification
• Ability to pass required pre-employment health screenings (fit test, PPD/IGRA, immunizations) and drug screening
• Comfort working night shifts and in a fast-paced imaging environment

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI program completion, or related field
• Completion of MRI training program and ARRT/ARMRIT certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI physics and imaging protocols
• Proficiency operating Siemens MRI systems and common coils
• Skilled in patient positioning, safety screening, and sedation protocols when required
• Experience with image post-processing and PACS workflows
• Familiarity with Epic for charting and Powerscribe for reporting
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
