Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D and 3D mammography exams, ensuring clear, diagnostic images
• Operate Digital Radiography (DR) equipment and maintain imaging safety and quality control
• Accurately document exams and patient information in EPIC and related systems
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to prioritize patient needs
• Participate in required competency testing and annual skills assessments
• Maintain equipment logs, QC records, and follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with 3D mammography (explicit requirement)
• Current state radiologic technologist license or equivalent (verification required)
• BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC, Digital Radiography (DR), and Primordial systems preferred
• Willingness to complete Trinity-specific competency testing and annual competencies
• Ability to pass fit testing, 10-panel drug screen, 2-step PPD or IGRA, and provide required immunizations

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in 3D mammography techniques and positioning
• Strong understanding of digital radiography workflows and image quality control
• Comfortable using EPIC for accurate charting and order management
• Patient-focused communication and ability to calm anxious patients
• Attention to detail for documentation, QC, and compliance tasks
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to coordinate with radiologists and support staff
