Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift). Specific days vary based on per-diem scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Monitor patient status and escalate changes to the clinical team promptly
Assist with admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Support continuity of care by accurately updating the medical record

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico required
Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
Demonstrated clinical competency in acute care or rehab settings
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background/drug screening
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Education

LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and care planning
Medication administration and documentation
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Clinical prioritization and time management during busy shifts
Infection prevention and safety protocols
Teamwork and clear handoff communication
