Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient status, report changes to supervising RN or provider promptly
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/state-appropriate license) required
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working in long-term care/clinical settings and following care plans
- Previous LPN experience preferred; new grads who meet licensure requirements are encouraged to apply
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent vocational nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in medication administration and basic clinical assessments
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Skilled in documentation and electronic health record basics
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during shifts
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
