Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN at the bedside
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to policy
• Monitor patients’ conditions, report changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
• Document care activities and patient responses clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities with dignity and respect
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in a fast-paced care environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN training program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Medication administration and basic wound care
• Accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during an 8-hour shift
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
