Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and daily assessments to promote recovery and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes to the RN/MD to ensure safety
- Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (class LPN) — candidates must meet state licensure requirements
- Local candidates only (LOCAL ONLY noted for this order)
- Comfortable working three long day shifts (Mon–Wed) — reliable attendance required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain if not already certified
Education
- Vocational/Technical Nursing diploma or equivalent required for LPN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and routine nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and basic clinical monitoring
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting skills
- Good interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
