Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using GE Discovery 450 and other CT equipment to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate imaging systems and position patients safely and compassionately for optimal image quality
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech and PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the care team to prioritize urgent studies and ensure patient flow
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime
• Provide clear patient education and support to reduce anxiety and improve the imaging experience

Qualifications

• BLS — required (we can’t do imaging without basic life support skills)
• ARRT certification — required for credentialed CT practice
• ACLS preferred but not required
• RT (T), ASRT, FASRT — nice-to-have certifications that will make your application stand out
• Minimum ~2 years of CT/radiology experience preferred
• Comfort working independently, flexible with nights and weekends, and able to adapt to fast-paced settings

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) — hands-on operational skill and image acquisition
• Familiarity with GE Discovery 450 and similar CT platforms
• General radiology knowledge including MRI and X-Ray basics
• Experience with Meditech EMR / PACS documentation workflows
• Strong patient care, positioning, and radiation safety practices
• Cross-sectional anatomy recognition and image quality assessment
